"...I highly recommend Andrea to you..."
"Andrea, Thank you for the contribution on our behalf to the Children's Miracle Network. A very kind and generous gesture on your part. Purchasing a home can be a complex process filled with uncertainties. Especially when you are moving into, not only a new home, but also a new state. This is the situation I found myself in; living in New Jersey and trying to purchase a home in North Carolina. Informed decisions need to be made; decisions that will determine the quality of life in your new home and new location. You need the advice of a trusted professional realtor. Someone who understands and represents your interests. Andrea Owens of Re/Max Winning Edge was that real estate professional who represented me in my July 2007 NC home purchase. Andrea is an exceptional realtor. Professional in every way. Prompt, thorough and informative; she made every step worry-free. She was always one step ahead of any issue; anticipating what needed to be done so that issues never became problems. From our initial contact, through finding the right property, making the right offer and on to the closing Andrea was always there to assist us through it all. Andrea was recommended to me and I highly recommend Andrea to you."

Closing or Settlement >The Good Faith Estimate
When you buy a home, you will pay "closing costs" in addition to the down payment. These costs include the "points" you pay on your mortgage loan, title and hazard insurance, the title search, legal fees, and other charges imposed by the lender. These charges vary by state and county, but they usually represent a considerable amount of money.
Your real estate agent can tell you about the closing costs in your area. Ask your agent for some general figures when you begin your search for a new home, and use this information as a guideline. When you apply for your loan, the lender is required to provide you with a "good faith" estimate of the closing costs. The lender's good faith estimate is usually close to the actual amount, since the sales contract will have the price and terms of your new home spelled out. As the closing approaches, your real estate agent will give you a final figure for the check that you will bring to the closing table.
